Review by hotel critic
Returning to Hranicni Zamecek for a gourmet getaway was a delightful choice. The Essens Restaurant, nestled within the historic walls of the castle, exudes culinary innovation. The degustation menu was a symphony of flavors, each course carefully crafted to tantalize the taste buds. Personally, the locally sourced ingredients combined with the chef's skill transported me through Moravian culinary history. After indulging in the culinary delights, a leisurely stroll around the hotel grounds revealed a hidden gem-the Chaplin Cafe, where breakfast showcased high-quality local produce. The buffet spread was a sight to behold, offering a taste of the region's gastronomic heritage. In conclusion, Hranicni Zamecek is not just a hotel; it's a culinary journey through South Moravia's rich flavors. The Essens Restaurant and Chaplin Cafe truly are the heart and soul of this historic retreat, inviting guests to savor every exquisite bite.
